A Capitol Heights man has died from a stabbing in Northeast Washington early Tuesday.
Police on Thursday identified the victim as 26-year-old Dwight Gaiter.
Police responding to a call for a stabbing found Gaiter in the 400 block of 56th Street NE at around 12:15 a.m. Tuesday. Gaiter was taken to a hospital where he died Wednesday night.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to call police at (202) 727-9099. D.C. police offer a reward of $25,000 for anyone that provides information that leads to a conviction.
