LOS ANGELES (AP) — Los Angeles police are searching for a suspect who pistol-whipped an employee and stole cash from a TGI Friday’s restaurant in the San Fernando Valley.

Officer Liliana Preciado says five workers at the restaurant in Woodland Hills called police early Monday saying they were locked in a back office by the robber.

The victims said the masked suspect entered the restaurant as they were closing up for the night.

Officials brought out three of the five employees in handcuffs for questioning, but they were later released.

Preciado says it’s unclear how much cash the suspect got away with.

A suspect description was not released, but police hope to use surveillance video to gather more clues.

Preciado says no major injuries were reported.
