The shooter suspected of taking the lives of at least six people in Odessa, Texas, on Saturday was reportedly fired from his job just hours before the deadly attack.
The gunman, identified Sunday as Seth Aaron Ator, drove from Midland, Texas, to Odessa on a high-speed chase Friday that was brought to an end when Odessa police shot him dead.
Ator was reportedly fired from his job at a trucking company just before the attack which caused injury to at least 19 people an killed at seven.
The gunman allegedly fired his AR-15 indiscriminately into oncoming motorists and pedestrians on his way toward Odessa.
Ator was killed by police in Odessa outside of a movie theater in his vehicle after evading capture while traveling up Interstate 20 between Midland and Odessa.
