Ken Spain, the NRCC’s communications director, just announced on Twitter that Rep. Jim Gerlach, R-Pa. will now seek re-election after having dropped his bid for governor. That’s one less open seat for Democrats to exploit, although Gerlach has always won narrowly in his suburban Philadelphia constituency.
