Dr. Fatemeh Ardeshir-Larijani was an associate professor at Emory University, having gained access to the United States in 2021 under the Biden administration. Other than the difficulty of pronouncing your name, you might be wondering, “Why are you talking about this gal Elisha? What’s the big deal?”
She is kind of a big deal because, nepotism. Ala, her father is a big deal.
He is Ali Larijani, a top man in the Iranian Regime for years. He’s the head of forces currently brutalizing men and women in the streets as they peacefully protest the ayatollah. If he had a LinkedIn account, it’d read, “Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council”. If you thought the United Nations Security Council was a joke, I give you Iran as an example of being even worse.
Ardeshir-Larijani’s daddy was one of the first Iranian leaders to call for violence against protesters in Tehran. Who, by estimates, are being arrested and murdered in the tens of thousands.
The U.S. government (under Trump, of course, not sleepy Joe) thought Larijani was so bad that Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent recently sanctioned him.
Rep. Earl Carter (R-GA) has demanded that the good doctor’s visa be rescinded along with her medical license. Seems like a no-brainer to me. Why would we want someone who believes as her father does, that America is a “great Satan,” to be teaching or practicing medicine on the citizens of the great Satan? Does she view all of her students as “little” Satans?
And yet, they let his daughter in to teach at a prestigious American university. The Trump administration is considering rescinding her visa.
They should do that for all family and friends of the Iranian regime. All of them.
Why are universities, private or especially government-funded, allowing radicals and those associated with them to receive an education here in the U.S.?
As a right-wing conservative Christian mom of four who resides in Los Angeles and has had play dates canceled and mom group chats go insane once they figure out what I do for a living, I’m personally opposed to judging children based on the actions of their parents.
When conservatives went after the Obama girls, it was wrong. When leftists like Rosie O’Donnell tried to go after Barron Trump, it was gross. I mostly have the stance “leave the kids out of it.”
But this doctor and other regime-connected officials aren’t minors. They’re adults who could, within the safety of the U.S., speak out against their parents and the regime, and they don’t. In fact, in the doctor’s case, she maintained the hyphenated use of her maiden name with her married one. She wants everyone to know where her allegiance lies.
These Iranian family members here with close connections to the ayatollah and his regime aren’t just their children who ran away. No, they’re antithetical to the values of the U.S. And actively so. They brag about their connections. They pretend to be beholden to Islam while wearing breast-exposing bikinis and sipping alcohol on yachts with men who aren’t their blood relatives. Things that would get the average Iranian woman chopped with a machete by the regime’s goons. We have seen an Iranian woman brutally murdered for way less for just protesting.
Their silence is complicity.
We should use the full force of the same procedures and laws that we did with pro terrorist organizations and their violent, green card-holding supporters on campus post Oct 7. Secretary of State Marco Rubio should remove them from American universities and our nation.
If they are not citizens. They need to go.
If the U.S., from our president on down to congressional members and state leaders, are saying we need to keep an eye on the regime and that their murdering swaths of innocents is not OK, we should not allow those who agree with the regime to stay here in the comfort of our constitutional laws and rights they have no inherent right to themselves. Especially when they’re keeping basic human rights from others.
PROSPECT OF STRIKE ON IRAN SENDS OIL PRICES SOARING
We should also make sure the brother of this evil secretary isn’t teaching cybersecurity in Scotland. The children of other leaders shouldn’t be able to operate businesses in Dubai that circumvent sanctions. They should not be able to live lavish and free lifestyles in France, Britain, and Canada. Utilize the strength of American influence, power, and economy to encourage our allies to oust this scum from the midst of civilized Western societies. Make them uncomfortable and maybe, just maybe, don’t let them teach at our schools.
