The Silver Spring man dubbed the “preppy burglar” because he was accused of breaking into homes wearing dress shirts and ties has pleaded guilty.

Court records show 30-year-old Jeremy M. Hall pleaded guilty to theft and burglary charges earlier this month. He admitted to breaking into homes last fall in Montgomery and Howard counties. The thefts gained attention after police distributed a video showing him burglarizing a home in a collared dress shirt and other professional attire.
