The man convicted of stabbing to death his supervisor at Suburban Hospital was sentenced Monday morning to life without the possibility of parole.
Keith Little, 50, was convicted of first-degree murder in December for the death of Roosevelt Brockington, Jr.
Brockington, 40, was killed on Jan. 1, 2011 and was found in the Suburban Hospital basement stabbed more than 70 times. Prosecutors argued that Little killed Brockington as a result of a poor performance review and a schedule change.
At his sentencing Monday, Little maintained that he was innocent and said prosecutors railroaded his conviction through.
Several family members of Brockington’s family, as well as people connected to the church he at which he had been a deacon, also spoke.
