Race quotas continue to break the Democratic Party

Every Democrat who ran for president in 2020 got a hernia reaching for approval from the social justice mob that now runs the party, and watching the fall out from that disaster is so much fun.

Politico reported Tuesday that noted straight white man Sean Patrick Maloney, the Democratic House representative of New York and incoming chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, is receiving “early warnings” that he better recognize who’s really in charge these days.

The report said that “some [Democratic House] members have already declared that they will speak out if his (Maloney’s) subsequent hires are not people of color.”

Rep. Bennie Thompson of Mississippi is quoted making the laughable argument that a lack of minorities in senior leadership positions is why Democrats saw their House majority dwindle to almost nothing on Election Day. “Given the fact that we damn near lost the House last time, I think black and brown, and females also, should be included in the senior operations for the DCCC.”

Hilarious. Voters don’t know who runs the DCCC, and they don’t care. Democrats saw their numbers tank because it turns out that Americans aren’t as enthusiastic about “defunding the police” as Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar. It didn’t help that the party’s leader, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, blocked every reasonable pandemic relief bill, having gambled that it would hurt President Trump’s reelection, even if it meant sacrificing some of her own members.

But the social justice mob that governs the modern Democratic Party doesn’t think logically. It doesn’t think at all. It makes demands and imposes race quotas.

The foremost consideration for any position of power for them is a person’s race, gender, or sexual identity. It’s why President-elect Joe Biden said during the campaign that above all else, he would ensure that his running mate was a woman. And it’s why he now has scoliosis as he twists himself into knots trying to figure out what Latino, what woman and what black person to put in any given spot in his administration.

It’s like watching a game of Twister with people who only have one limb each, except this is more fun.
