WATCH LIVE: Hegseth and Caine give update on Iran after ceasefire violations

War Secretary Pete Hegseth and Gen. Dan Caine, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, are giving updates on the paused-but-heating-up U.S.-Israeli war with Iran at a press briefing.

The briefing is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m.

The two military leaders have provided updates on Operation Epic Fury since its start on Feb. 28, but the briefings have been less frequent since a ceasefire was reached last month.

After weeks of the ceasefire holding largely without incident, Monday saw a series of massive violations, with Iran launching missile and drone barrages at two U.S. Navy destroyers navigating the Strait of Hormuz, the U.S. destroying six Iranian fast attack boats, and Iran firing at least 15 missiles and four drones at the United Arab Emirates.
