Podcaster Tucker Carlson blasted the Iran war again on Thursday, arguing President Donald Trump should focus on Americans rather than foreign policy.
“Make sure your own country doesn’t degrade,” Carlson said on the Megyn Kelly Show.

Carlson and host Megyn Kelly reacted to an Axios report released Wednesday that details an agreement between the United States and Iran to end the war. Kelly said that she’s taking the report with a grain of salt and called out Trump for announcing multiple deals.
“He’s told us 31 times the Iran war is over,” Kelly said.
Carlson emphasized getting out of the war and said, “I don’t see a future where it gets better by staying in longer.”
“The idea that the purpose of the U.S. government is to keep the world safe from Iran is insane,” Carlson said.
Kelly agreed, saying the Trump administration’s priorities are not “on the pocketbooks of American people.”
Carlson attacked the idea that the U.S. should topple the Iranian regime, arguing that it would cause lasting economic damage.
“Only a coherent state can guarantee a shipping lane,” Carlson said.
He argued that Israel has been leaning on the U.S. and they “cannot act independently.” The Israel Defense Forces would be “eaten by Iran,” Carlson said.

Carlson argued that Israel hasn’t had to deal with Iran because the U.S. is cleaning up its messes. He said the president has the ability to step away from Israel and tell them to “get along with your neighbors.”
“You may have super annoying people living next door to you, you can’t just shoot them,” he said.
