Vice President JD Vance will speak at the United States Air Force Academy’s commencement ceremony on Thursday at 11:30 a.m.

Vance, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, will deliver the commencement address to the graduates in Colorado, where over 900 students will become officers in the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Space Force.

Vance is the latest vice president to take the stage at the Air Force Academy graduation ceremony, following former Vice President Kamala Harris, who spoke to the graduating cadets in 2024. The first vice president to speak at the ceremony was Lyndon B. Johnson in 1962.
