The Justice Department unsealed an indictment on Tuesday that charges eight current and former Navy officials with felony crimes in the “Fat Leonard” bribery case that has unraveled for the past four years.

On one occasion, the indictment states, Leonard Glenn Francis, a defense contractor based in Singapore who was known as “Fat Leonard,” hosted a sex party for USS Blue Ridge officers at the Manila Hotel in February 2007, where “historical memorabilia related to General Douglas MacArthur were used by the participants in sexual acts.”
