Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent smiled when recalling how President Donald Trump convinced a slew of congressional Republicans to vote yes on the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.
“It’s the president at his best” when he has to deal with lawmakers who want something for their yes votes, Bessent said.
