FARMINGVILLE, N.Y. (AP) — Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a 36-year-old woman on Long Island.
Suffolk County police say Monica Lino was found at her home on Berkshire Drive in Farmingville just after 3 p.m. Sunday.
Details are sketchy but a police spokeswoman says the woman appeared to be a victim of violence. She did not say how the victim died.
An autopsy will be performed by the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
