President Donald Trump posted a video to his Truth Social account Sunday night with the caption “Kharg Island being blown to smithereens.” The AI-generated video came just hours after the U.S. launched strikes against Iran on Laruck Island.
The video features the back of the head of a pilot of a U.S. aircraft of some sort, overlooking the bombing of what is believed to be an industrial compound supposedly on Kharg Island. No explanation was given as to why Trump posted the video. There have not been any comments about it at all from the White House as of early Monday morning.
