Two hurt in Bowie crash

Two people were hospitalized after a two-car crash in Bowie on Monday that trapped one man in his vehicle.

The crash occurred at about 10 a.m. on the 9500 block of Laurel Bowie Road, according to Prince George’s County Fire and Emergency Services. Both vehicles sustained significant front-end damage.

A man in his 60s was trapped in his vehicle for about 20 minutes. He was taken to a trauma center but his injuries appeared to be non-life-threatening, authorities said.

A woman in her 40s was driving the other vehicle and was taken to a hospital in good condition.
