Confidence is starting to swell at the Clinton campaign, leading to a new prediction that the “National Mall will be flooded” when Hillary Rodham Clinton takes the oath of office on Inauguration Day.
“In 98 days, I hope to be in D.C., standing in front of the steps of the U.S. Capitol, looking on as Hillary raises her right hand and takes the Oath of Office,” writes campaign manager Robby Mook in a new fundraising memo to supporters.
“If we win, the National Mall will be flooded with people, watching alongside me on Inauguration Day — and millions more will be watching at home,” he wrote, adding, “we’re so close.”

If we win, the National Mall will be flooded with people, watching alongside me on Inauguration Day — and millions more will be watching at home. But only a small percentage of those folks will be able to say that they actually helped elect our first woman president.
I want you to be able to say that. I want you to be able to tell your children and your children’s children that you were part of the team that shattered that highest, hardest glass ceiling.
Here’s how we’re going to make that happen. Chip in for the first time before the final major FEC deadline of the campaign next Wednesday, and by doing so, become an official Presidential Donor — proof that you were one of the core supporters who lifted Hillary into the Oval Office — and receive a free sticker.
We would’ve never gotten this far without people like you. So let’s be certain you get the acknowledgment you deserve: both for being on the right side of history and for helping us make history, too. This is the very last fundraising deadline like this before Election Day — make sure to get your name on the record before it’s too late.
You’re one of our most committed supporters. If you’ve saved your payment information, your donation will go through immediately:
We’re so close!
