BRUSSELS (AP) — The European Union and Italy in particular must focus on making structural reforms to boost growth, not try to ease the rules limiting government debt, Italian Finance Minister Pier Carlo Padoan said Tuesday.
Italy just took over the rotating presidency of the 28-nation EU and will, according to Padoan, try “to help all countries to find incentives and pressure to reform” to reduce unemployment.
