A head-on collision claimed the lives of four people, including three teenagers, in Anne Arundel County early Sunday.
Maryland State Police said the teens were pronounced dead at the scene. There were identified as Breanna Marie Franco, 18, Brittany Ann Walker, 19, and Zachary Tyler Rose, 18. They were all in the same vehicle.
The driver of the other car died on the way to the hospital, police said. He has been identified as, Terry Wayne Davis, 55, Severna Park.
The crash happened about 3:30 Sunday on U.S. 50, east of Maryland Route 424, Davidsonville Road. Police said the three teenagers were in a car traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of Route 50 when it struck another vehicle head on. The vehicle with the teens it it briefly caught fire.
Police have not determined if alcohol or speed were factors in the crash.
