The White House press corp got the star treatment on Friday when Bill Murray crashed the briefing room.
Murray ran to the podium to give a brief rundown of the nation’s most important issue, namely if the Chicago Cubs can win the World Series.
“I feel very confident that Clayton Kershaw is a great pitcher, but they got too many sticks, too many sticks,” said the Saturday Night Live alum. “Trees die in Los Angeles, in Illinois they flourish.”
He was referring to the Cubs defeating the Dodgers in Game 5 of the National League Championship Series.
