Roseanne Barr: Hillary Clinton is ‘the same old s–t,’ can’t win in 2016

Famed actress and comedian Roseanne Barr doesn’t want to see Hillary Clinton succeed in the 2016 presidential election. She’d prefer to see herself win the nomination.

“I think she’s a Democrat just like they all are,” Barr said of Hillary in a recent interview with The Daily Beast following the former secretary of State’s presidential announcement. “She seems like every other Democrat. I would not like to see her win. She’s the same old s–t. I’d like to see me win. I don’t see how she can win.”

The comedian described herself as “not at all” jazzed about the particular prospect of electing a female president, insisting that it would be more worthy of celebration if Americans were to choose the “first intelligent, honest American president.”

“I don’t care what’s in their shorts,” she said of the candidates. “I don’t care what it looks like down there at all. The thing I did like Hillary for was that she was the first candidate who ever listened to what women said, because she had to.”

And, though Barr thought it “cool” when Americans elected Barack Obama in 2008, she now views the current president as “just another corporate Democrat.”

“He rushed to give the banks their bailout,” she added. “They’re all the same, they work for big money.”

Barr, who came in sixth place when she ran as a Green Party candidate in the 2012 presidential election, penned an op-ed in the Beast just last week persuading voters to “forget” Clinton — who she claims is “riding the gravy train of self-enrichment and entitlement subsidized by taxpayers” — and get behind her own bid for the nomination in 2016.

What’s her one drawback for not running for the Oval Office? “You can’t do any d–k jokes,” admitted Barr.
