Dan Bongino says YouTube censored interview with Trump talking about 2024 and Biden

Conservative commentator Dan Bongino said YouTube censored his interview with former President Donald Trump for what the platform said was promoting “deceptive practices and scams.”

After Bongino interviewed Trump on the most recent episode of The Dan Bongino Show, the radio show host received a message from YouTube explaining its decision to remove the video from its platform.

“Our team has reviewed your content, and, unfortunately, we think it violates our spam, deceptive practices and scams policy,” the video-sharing platform wrote to Bongino, according to a screenshot he shared on his website.

“But you wouldn’t have heard any of it on YouTube, which is apparently attempting to justify censoring it under the guise of their ‘deceptive practices and scams’ policy, as opposed to their ‘we don’t like Trump’ policy,” a post on the website for Bongino’s show said.

In the video, which is still available on competitors such as Rumble, the pair discussed Trump’s 2024 plans and the Biden presidency. At one point, Trump said that “right after” the 2022 midterm elections is “probably the most appropriate time” to announce another run for the White House.

Trump also repeated his claims about widespread election fraud in 2020, allegations that have repeatedly been flagged by Big Tech in the months since the 2020 election.

YouTube has previously banned conservative personalities such as Sebastian Gorka and Rudy Giuliani for what the platform deemed were violations of its “presidential election integrity policy,” and Trump has been banned from several social media platforms for his election fraud allegations as well as his statements surrounding the Jan. 6 Capitol Hill siege.
