Hamilton Hypocrites: Cast blasts Pence (who was in the audience) [VIDEO]

One would think it would be an honor to perform for a popular governor who is the Vice President-elect. It should be viewed as a deep compliment that one of the most powerful people in the world wanted to take their family to your show.

But alas, liberals on Broadway used Vice President-elect Mike Pence’s visit to the hit musical Hamilton to bash him to his face.

Brandon Victor Dixon, who plays Aaron Burr, said, “We, sir, we are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents, or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights.”

“We truly hope that this show has inspired you to uphold our American values and to work on behalf all of us.”

Not only is it clear that Dixon and the cast don’t understand what “inalienable rights” are (from “our Creator,” not government), but it is also apparently that they are hypocrites. This is the same cast that hosted a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton just months ago. Did they really think she was better for all the planet and our children and our rights?

Let’s review.

Clinton has supported every military conflict or possible military conflict in the last thirty years. Is what happened in Iraq, Syria, Libya, and the Middle East as a whole been good for the planet? Was nation-building good for the planet? Has propping up Saudi Arabia been good for the planet?

Maybe by “planet” they meant climate change? Oh wait, Clinton was one of the biggest recipients of oil money ever, and has supported fracking, pipelines, and almost anything the industry wanted.

And “our children.” Let’s not even get into sending more young Americans overseas to die for failed nation-building. How about having no plan to save Social Security and Medicare? Without entitlement reform, young Americans will neither get benefits nor inherit a financially stable government.

As for “parents,” the overwhelming majority of parents favored Donald Trump, and they are smarter than an overpaid actor. Are higher taxes and higher health costs better for parents?

Clinton’s record on race, gay marriage, oil, foreign policy, and most issues Hollywood/Broadway liberals care about is shaky at best. From a progressive’s point of view, Clinton has been wrong on almost every issue, yet the Hamilton crew loved her. Yet, they accuse Trump of basically hating everyone.

Trump supported gay rights before Clinton. Trump opposed getting boggled down in the Middle East before Clinton. Trump never called a former KKK member his “mentor” (Clinton did).

It’s one thing to oppose all politicians who aren’t extremely progressive. Many Bernie Sanders supporters never backed Clinton for those exact reasons. But, the cast cannot praise Clinton and despise Trump — and pretend to claim some moral high ground.
