MSNBC has pulled political analyst Mark Halperin from the air as it investigates allegations of sexual harassment from five women, according to a report Thursday.
MSNBC told Mediaite the allegations are “very troubling,” and that “Mark Halperin is leaving his role as a contributor until the questions around his past conduct are fully understood.”

Halperin, 52, was named in a report Wednesday as having harassed employees by propositioning them for sex, kissing, and grabbing womens’ breasts, and pressing up against them while erect.
Halperin released a statement late Wednesday admitting he “did pursue relationships with women that I worked with, including some junior to me,” but denied making physical advances while political director at ABC News in the 1990s.
“I now understand from these accounts that my behavior was inappropriate and caused others pain. For that, I am deeply sorry and I apologize. Under the circumstances, I’m going to take a step back from my day-to-day work while I properly deal with this situation,” the statement said.
