WASHINGTON (AP) — District of Columbia police say a 13-year-old has died after being shot in the city’s Northeast.

Police said Wednesday that they responded to a call about shots fired around 7:20 p.m. Tuesday in the 1400 block of Downing Street. There they found a 13-year-old boy conscious and breathing with a gunshot wound.
