President Joe Biden momentarily lost his mask following a speech marking 100 days in office Thursday evening in Duluth, Georgia.
His wife, first lady Jill Biden, walked over to him and pointed to her mask, after which the president, who is fully vaccinated but has made a point of setting an example for others in wearing a mask even when solo as a COVID-19 precaution, started looking around behind the podium.
With Sens. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff approaching them on the stage, Biden could be seen flipping through a binder’s pages before he started shouting about how he could not find his mask.
“I’m looking for my mask. I’m in trouble,” Biden said, leaning into the microphone as Jill Biden took the binder for a look.

Warnock placed his hand on Biden’s shoulder and gestured for a hug, to which Biden playfully and with a smile nudged the senator on the chest with a fist.
A man in a suit ran up the stairs with something in his hand, delivering it to the first lady as Biden reached into his pockets.

Within a couple moments, the president produced a mask, held it up momentarily for the audience to see, and put it on before the four got together, clasped hands, and raised them in the air.
Biden, 78, arrived to the event wearing a mask but took it off to deliver his remarks after the first lady spoke.
