Rogers: Foreign policy is ‘more than hashtags and selfies’

POLITICO — House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers says foreign policy decisions should not be driven by what’s happening online — and a more “holistic” approach is needed to terrorism and radicalism.

“You can’t base your policy based on what’s trending on Twitter,” the Michigan Republican said Sunday on CBS’ “Face the Nation.” “It has to be more than hashtags and selfies.”
