The University of Maryland student who was found dead inside her on-campus dormitory has been identified as 20-year-old Sarah Elizabeth Hancock.
Hancock was found unresponsive inside her room in Kent Hall about 1:15 p.m. Monday. She was pronounced dead.
Police said there is no indication of foul play or a suicide attempt. Police are calling the death an accident.
The cause of death will be determined by the Office of Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore.
