Volunteers are needed for Prince George’s Community College tax preparation program that provides free tax services to students, elderly taxpayers and individuals with disabilities or limited income.
Participants in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program will receive free tax training, an Internal Revenue Service volunteer tax preparer certificate and might even receive college credit for the experience. Volunteers must attend five training sessions on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. or Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at the college, beginning Jan. 3.
