Eric Bolling: Son’s drug overdose ‘included opioids’

Former Fox News personality Eric Bolling said a coroner told him and his wife that their son’s death was the result of a drug overdose that included opioids.

Writing Thursday night on Twitter, Bolling said he had received the news that evening.

“Just received some tragic news from Coroner in Colorado. Eric Chase’s passing has been ruled an accidental overdose that included opioids,” he said. “Adrienne and I thank you for your continued prayers and support. We must fight against this national epidemic, too many innocent victims.”

Bolling included a photo of his college-aged son in the tweets.

Eric Chase died in September, shortly after allegations surfaced that Bolling behaved inappropriately with some women at Fox.

Bolling has denied the accusations, and he and Fox parted ways “amicably.”

The news that Bolling’s son died from an overdose came the same day that the Trump administration declared the national opioid crisis a public health emergency.
