Conceding that “no one is happy” with an 0-6 start, Baltimore Blackbirds general manager John Wolfe announced a series of moves Wednesday. Head coach Chris Simpson will assume player personnel duties, while Damon Yaffe will move from the coaching staff to become the director of scouting and quality control. Also, the team released former starting quarterback Kenny Irby, running back David Johnson, linebacker Chris Robinson, defensive back Brandon Cooper and offensive linemen Aaron Bailey, Elex Jones and Julius Carey.
