Hustler publisher Larry Flynt opens up to Vanity Fair’s Bruce Handy on several top politicos in the forthcoming issue of Vanity Fair.

On Giuliani: “As mayor of New York, would you live in an apartment with three gay guys?” Flynt asks.“I don’t hate gays. But I don’t want to live in an apartment full of them. They’ll bitch and cry and all. That doesn’t bother Giuliani. It doesn’t bother Giuliani to put a dress on to do Saturday Night Live. I don’t trust him. I don’t think he’s electable.” (Giuliani moved in with a gay male couple after his separation from Donna Hanover.)

On meeting Bill Clinton: “The first thing he did was come over and grab my hand and say, ‘You’re my hero.’ ” Flynt says Clinton chastised the Hustler publisher for not publishing details of Republican Bob Livingston’s extramarital sex life. (A Clinton spokesman says the former president recalls the conversation differently).

On his next Republican “outing”: “The other shoe’s going to drop any day,” Flynt says. “It’ll surprise a lot of people that he’s gay. And I’ll bet you he resigns the same day and rides off into the sunset.”
