The Democratic town hall in 90 seconds

Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton squared off in a town hall hosted by CNN Wednesday night just days before the first-in-the-nation New Hampshire primary.

Clinton was pushed by CNN’s Anderson Cooper over large speaking fees she’s accepted in the past, including $675,000 from Wall Street giant Goldman Sachs. Clinton pushed back, arguing “that’s what they offered.”

Sanders, meanwhile, charged that he’s the more progressive of the two candidates and joked with Cooper about “ageism” when the moderator pointed out Sanders would be 83 years old at the end of a second term.

This was the first town hall forum between the two candidates. Former Gov. Martin O’Malley suspended his campaign after a poor performance in the Iowa caucus.
