PG fire ousts family from home

Eight people, including three children, were displaced after a fire swept through their Prince George’s County home Saturday evening.

The blaze broke out around 6:20 p.m. in the basement of a two-story house in the 6600 block of 22nd Place in the Chillum area close to the Montgomery County line, according to Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Department.
