LIMA, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities have apprehended three upstate New York men believed to have been involved in a shooting that left one person in critical condition.
State Police say the three were involved in a shooting in the Town of Bath late Monday night.
The suspects were briefly chased by a Livingston County Sheriff’s deputy before allegedly abandoning their car in Lima (LIE-muh) and fleeing on foot.
Troopers say one of the suspects was caught just after 6 a.m. in Lima and the other two were picked up in Honeoye (HUHN’-ee-oy) Falls.
Numerous swat teams, K9 units, and a state police helicopter were involved in the search.
The suspects, who were considered armed and dangerous, were caught after about five hours.
Lima is about 20 miles south of Rochester.
