Palin laid down the law with Putin during a satirical skit featuring “Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon as Putin. Following a faux phone call between President Barak Obama and Putin, the Mama Grizzly and Russian president discussed her 2008 prediction that Russia would invade Ukraine.
“Since you’re so great at predicting my next move, who do you think I should invade next?” Putin asked the former Alaska governor. “I’m thinking Finland, Sweden, I hear Jamaica is nice this time of year.”
Palin, in response, ordered Putin to remove his troops from Ukraine, which prompted the Russian president to refer to her a “Captain Buzzkill.”
The pair goes on to talk about how Palin could’ve used her skills of predicting the Russian president’s next move to assist with his March Madness bracket.
Putin and Palin couldn’t resist poking a little fun at President Obama, though, especially when it came to his notoriety for wearing mom jeans.
“I come from strong genes,” Putin told Palin as she commended him for being a strong leader. “President Obama, he come from mom jeans.”
The two then break out into a jam session, complete with Palin on the flute and Putin on the guitar. But, when Putin jokes that Alaska may be the next country he invades, the Mama Grizzly gets serious.
“I wouldn’t if I were you, Vlad,” Palin tells Putin.”You may be able to take down a bear, but you’re no match for a Mama Grizzly.”
