Really like the National Mall and want to tell people all about it? The Trust for the National Mall is recruiting the inaugural class of docents as part of the National Park Service’s Volunteers in the Parks program. The Trust says the National Mall docents will “enhance the experience of the Mall’s 25 million annual visitors by giving interactive educational tours, engaging visitors and assisting the public with general inquiries, information and directions.” The volunteers must be at least 21-years-old and have teaching, docent or public speaking.
