Donald Trump continued bashing former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton Wednesday morning, saying she would be an “embarrassment to our country” if she were to win the presidency.
“I think she’s an embarrassment to our country,” Trump told CNN’s “New Day.” “She’s under federal investigation. She doesn’t have the strength or the stamina to be president.”
“She talks about defeating our enemies. Well, where had she been for the last year? We can’t even beat ISIS,” Trump said. “She’s not defeating our enemies, she wouldn’t know how to defeat the enemy. It’s ridiculous.”
Trump’s comments come a day after Clinton argued in her Florida primary victory speech that the real estate mogul’s plans to deport 12 million illegal immigrants and ban all Muslims don’t “make him strong,” but rather “wrong.”
Both Trump and Clinton moved closer to winning each party’s respective nomination on Tuesday night, as Clinton won all five states on the map and Trump won at least three, and possibly Missouri, although that state may have to recount the vote due to the narrow margin.
