A woman was attacked by a Rottweiler in Montgomery County on Monday night, police said.
The owner’s daughter was walking the Rottweiler in the 2100 block of Rose Theater Circle in Olney. The dog was not controlled well on its leash and was able to bite another woman’s face, police spokeswoman Angela Cruz said.
The Assosciated Press reported that the woman will require extensive plastic surgery. The dog, which is said to have no history of biting or attacking people, is being quarantined at the owner’s home for 10 days.
Cruz said no charges had been filed at this time.
