Maryland Transportation Authority police say all lanes of the Francis Scott Key Bridge on the Baltimore Beltway are closed because of an crash involving an overturned tractor trailer.

Police spokesman Sgt. Jonathan Green says the overturned rig was subsequently struck by a car. He says there were no immediate reports of injuries.

Green says it’s not known if high winds caused the box-type tractor trailer to overturn. The National Weather Service says most of Maryland is under a high wind warning.

Green says the rig is on its side, at the top of the bridge, and is straddling the traffic lanes in both directions.

According to Green, the tractor trailer was traveling on the inner loop lanes when it overturned.
