Health complications that might hurt Hillary Clinton’s ability to lead the U.S. as president don’t change political comedian Bill Maher’s mind on who he prefers to be in the White House, even if it kills her.
“Pneumonia? I’d vote for Dead Hillary in this race,” the host of HBO’s “Real Time” tweeted Monday. “She could be Patient Zero for Bubonic Plague, still better than #TangerineNightmare,” he added, referring to Republican nominee Donald Trump.

Clinton’s campaign revealed this weekend that the candidate was diagnosed with pneumonia after she nearly collapsed Sunday while leaving a Sept. 11 ceremony in New York City. While Clinton, 68, maintains that she instantly felt better after the health scare, she canceled appearances at several events in California this week in order to rest.
In the past, Trump’s campaign had brought up Clinton’s health as a campaign issue. After her Ground Zero incident, some members of the press are taking a second look.
