Montgomery County Councilman George Leventhal will be emceeing the Fourth Annual Unique Closet Fashion Show Wednesday night with local stylist J. Carter, who will offer fashion and thrift-store shopping advice.
Featuring Montgomery County residents, proceeds from the event will help disadvantaged residents buy clothing, coats, school supplies, housewares, furniture, shoes and other necessities. All clothing worn by the participants will come from the Unique Thrift Store.
The event will take place at Unique Thrift Store, which is at 10121 New Hampshire Avenue in the Hillandale neighborhood of Silver Spring, at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
