Superhero summit at Milano

Star power

Like President Obama’s own Justice League, Spiderman (Tobey Maguire) and Superman (Brandon Routh) have been palling around this week. On Monday, the pair answered the new president’s call for national service, participating in a project at Simon Elementary School in Southeast. Then on Monday night, there they were at the Artists & Athletes Alliance party at Café Milano, bookending the room with their super … er, celebrity … powers.

In the words of founder Steve Ross, the new organization — which also held a luncheon with a slew of ambassadors and celebs at the Decatur House on Monday — doesn’t “have an agenda,” but rather aims to inform celebs on the issues they care about and connect them to relevant policymakers. “They’re so interested in learning about D.C. and becoming involved. It’s a whole ‘nother level of talent that has been afraid to get involved.”

Such as … Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, who walked the red carpet, only to be immediately ushered to a back room. Later, J Lo and her party of 10 got a table in the middle of the restaurant. She also purred, “You know I like me a good dress” when asked about her Chanel ensemble.

We also caught up to “CSI” star Jorja Fox, who told us “I think I’m a groupie” when it comes to Obama. “I think I qualify as a groupie.” She added that she did all she could. “Hollywood’s pretty blue, so there aren’t a lot of minds to change,” she said.

Also spotted: Queen Noor of Jordan, David Arquette, Hunter Biden (who refused an interview with “Entertainment Tonight”), Redskin quarterback Jason Campbell, tight end Chris Cooley (who we say canoodling with his gorgeous wife), defensive back Shawn Springs, and Fran Drescher, who ran out to touch up her makeup when approached by a camera crew from the “Ellen DeGeneres Show.”
