Yeas & Nays caught up with former D.C. Mayor Anthony Williams at pollster Frank Luntz’s All-Star Game party last week and asked him whether he’s found some time, post-elected office, to do what he loves best: ride horses.
“I haven’t had enough time to ride as I would have liked,” Williams said, who usually heads to the Rock Creek Park Horse Center when he wants to ride locally. And, when he does ride, it’s usually not in these parts.

“I’ve been doing a lot of riding out West, New Mexico and the like,” Williams said. “It’s amazing out there. Wide, open spaces, beautiful scenery.
“I love D.C.,” Williams said, “but it’s tough to get that kind of view in a city.”
