Senate debate shows Dr. Oz is the better choice for PA voters

If you live in Pennsylvania and enjoy crime and poverty and a politician who lies about fracking and doesn’t trust the Supreme Court, then you should vote for John Fetterman. Otherwise, Dr. Mehmet Oz is the better choice for Pennsylvania voters in the Nov. 8 election. Fetterman generally looked unprepared for the debate as Dr. Oz effectively conveyed his vision of what he would bring to Washington if elected senator.

Fetterman’s policies, not his health condition, are enough to turn voters away from his candidacy. Between tonight’s incoherent rambling to explain his positions during the debate and his public support for numerous radical left-wing policies, Fetterman showed his true colors in front of a live audience. There weren’t any sympathetic pundits or media to hide Fetterman’s flaws tonight. Standing across from his Republican opponent, facing the same pressure and spotlight as Oz, Fetterman showed he would be a complete disaster if elected.

Consider Fetterman’s statements tonight.

For a candidate who vehemently mentions “safeguarding our democracy” — it’s highlighted on his campaign website — Fetterman stated outright tonight that he didn’t believe in supporting the Supreme Court.

“I think it’s critical that we be consistent, and I do not believe in supporting the Supreme Court,” Fetterman said in response to one of the moderator’s questions.

And while such commentary attacking our judicial branch has become a staple of the Left’s rhetoric, declaring a lack of support for the Supreme Court cannot be categorized as anything other than attacking our democracy.

Then there was Fetterman getting caught lying by the moderator about his support for fracking.

When the moderator mentioned that during a 2018 interview, Fetterman stated he “doesn’t support fracking at all” and that he “never” has, Fetterman wasn’t honest with Pennsylvanians.

“I’ve always supported fracking,” Fetterman said.

However, this is entirely not true. Maybe Fetterman changed his mind about fracking. Maybe he had an epiphany. Either one of those explanations would have been sufficient. Fetterman didn’t try to spin the discussion or pivot to provide a more favorable answer. Instead, he just downright lied about his support for fracking.

However, there were numerous times in the past when Fetterman said the opposite. Multiple videos show Fetterman did not always support fracking.

Oz, on the other hand, looked poised, prepared, and dedicated to his platform. He didn’t call for any revolutionary distrust in one of our country’s three branches, stressed the importance of states’ rights when it came to abortion, and hammered Fetterman on border security.

It was a good night for Oz. And, unless one is completely biased, lacks objectivity, or is part of a left-wing cult, tonight’s debate showed why Pennsylvanians should vote for Oz on Nov. 8.
