Gallup: Dem Favorables Hit New Low (Update)

Via Allahpundit, voters view the Democratic party more disfavorably than favorably for the first time since Gallup began tracking this figure in 1992. As you can see, the Democrats had a double-digit lead in their favorable rating even during the 1994 GOP takeover. What does it mean that 54% of voters disapprove of the Democrats, while only 41% of voters view the Democratic party favorably?
