A BB&T bank branch in Manassas has become a target for bank robbers. The branch, at 8780 Centreville Road, has already been robbed twice this year.
The suspect in the first robbery was caught just days after he allegedly hit the bank on Jan. 20. Police say 39-year-old Majeed Abdul Spanta did not present a weapon during the robbery. Instead, he simply asked the teller for the cash, police say. The teller turned over an undisclosed amount of cash, and the suspect walked out, according to police.
