The internet couldn’t help but mock the Bernie Sanders supporters who got emotional during their candidate’s speech on Monday night.
Slate provided photos of some of the downright devastated audience members, with commentary like, “I mean, nobody died.” Don’t tell that to these Sanders supporters though, because their hopes and dreams certainly did.
While many were causing a ruckus with their tears, lack of enthusiasm for Hillary Clinton, and efforts to console each other, other supporters wore tape over their mouths saying “Silenced” or “Silenced By DNC,” a more fair criticism.
