Man arrested in D.C. assault

D.C. police arrested a suspect in an assault early Sunday morning in the District’s Shaw neighborhood.

The assault occurred just before 3 a.m. Sunday on the 500 block of T Street NW. Two men got into an argument with the black male suspect, according to D.C. police spokesman Officer Anthony Clay. The suspect allegedly stabbed one man in the neck and hand, the other in the back and arm. Both men were taken to a nearby hospital.
