A woman delivered a baby boy in a Baltimore Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport bathroom Sunday afternoon, after getting off a post-Thanksgiving flight.
Authorities were called to a bathroom in Concourse D around 2:20 p.m. Sunday by someone nearby saying that a woman was in labor, said BWI spokesman Jonathan Dean.
A Maryland Transportation Authority Police officer helped the woman deliver a baby boy inside the bathroom, he said. Then emergency medical crews rushed the new mom and babe to a local hospital, he said.
No word on how the two were faring or where they’d flown in from, he said.
